In the lates 1940's and 1950s Kunkel was establishing his Institute of Religious Psychology, which included a curriculum and lectures.  

This lecture is 60 pages and is incredibly helpful because it is a distillation of Kunkel's key ideas and methods. As it is his own words speaking to a specific audience, on reading it, it feels like he is speaking directly to us today.
